Why This Reference Exists
Older printed directories placed Roseville names and addresses in one volume. Today, the surviving evidence is distributed. The City Assessor and Macomb Register of Deeds address property questions. Election officials handle voter records under Michigan law. Roseville Public Library, Mount Clemens Public Library, and state collections preserve historical directories, microfilm, and newspaper leads. We organize those public routes so a family-history, civic, address, or archive question can begin with the proper custodian.
Resources Included
The material here identifies official routes and explains their stated limits. It does not compile a new list of people.
- Searches by purpose: the Street Directory, Directory Book, and Resident Lookup organize sources by address, historical household, and named-record questions.
- Custodian information: Roseville city offices, Macomb County offices, Michigan portals, courts, and library archives.
- Research methods: parcel-to-deed trails, historical directory reading, and ways to compare a dated record with another source.
- Access limits: Michigan Freedom of Information Act procedures, restricted records, record gaps, and confidential-address protections.
Limits of Our Role
Roseville Residents Directory is privately operated. It is not part of the City of Roseville, Macomb County, the State of Michigan, a court, or a library. Only the records custodian can provide a certified copy, correct a government record, or confirm the meaning of a particular file.
- We cannot verify that a person currently lives at a Roseville address.
- We do not retrieve, authenticate, change, or delete public records.
- We cannot enroll or remove anyone from a government roll or database.
- We do not provide legal advice about a record, request, or dispute.
- We cannot guarantee the continued availability of a portal, collection, or office detail.
Confirm a record with the agency, court, or library that keeps it. This reference is not a consumer reporting agency, and its material is not for FCRA-regulated decisions.
